This option is quite simple and should be the best option to use, considering you can share presets saved using this method with other users of the same plugin. You can even use such presets across all DAW platforms, since it is not DAW dependent, but saved in the format provided by the plugin maker. The location of this menu will depend on a particular plugin’s user interface. Different plugin manufacturers have their own unique presets menu features often similarly integrated into their various plugins. Here is an example.
