Fuse Audio Labs is a fairly new DSP company that has been making name for itself within the little time of their presence in the audio plugins market. Their major breakthrough offering was the Bucket-500 analog delay, which was a very intuitive and quick to use delay plugin. The company was founded in 2017 by Reimund Dratwa who has an experience of many years working for different big names in the audio business during which he created dozens of renowned analog modeling plugin titles.
ABOUT THE VCL-373
The VCL-373 plugin recreates an early 60s broadcasting limiter/compressor that eventually found its way into many mastering studios. 1963 marks a technological shift from the then popular diode-bridge based gain reduction stage to the presently used and preferred transistor-based circuit that allowed for less THD and more reliable control voltage tracking.
The plugin includes a faithful emulation of the audio transformers, the crucial feedback compression circuitry as well as the discrete class A make-up amplifier. Some convenient features including a continuous drive control, gain compensation, GR metering and a dry/wet mix have been added in the digital domain.
Available in VST, VST3, AAX Native, AudioUnits for Mac OS and Windows in 32 and 64 bits.
Price: Regular price $59.
Introductory sale price – $29 until July 15th.
