Black Rooster releases VEQ-1P program EQ, an emulation of the revered classic Pultec VEQ-1 hardware. Using the VEQ-1P, you can easily adjust the low and high end frequencies, without impairing the midrange. The low end feels solid, smooth and gentle, while the high freqs are clean and sweet. The emulation really recreates the original signal path including both input and output stages. When pushed, it delivers 3d studio max torrent sweet harmonics and if pushed even harder it saturates in a very musical and transparent way. VEQ-1P easily dials in the classic Pultec Low-End trick on drums busses and invokes the loveable Pultec overdrive trick for extreme vocals.
