Hornet releases ElliptiQ, phase problem fixing EQ plugin . It is an elliptic equalizer type designed to enable easy control of the stereo wideness in the low frequencies. With this litle plugin which has a quite simple user interface, you can easily tighten up your bass and prevent phase issues. Using HoRNet Elliptic, you can filter out frequencies from 20Hz up to 2000Hz, all the way into the mid frequencies.
The stereo filter has three different slopes: 12, 24, 48 dB/octave, so you can finely adjust from subtle to drastic filtering. Stereo wideness for low frequency is adjustable from 100% down to mono. It also comes with an automatic stereo wideness algorithm. This function when activated, evaluates the difference between the mid and side information and adjusts the sides automatically if they are perceived to be too high or wide. The result is a tighter more focused low end to keep the entire track cleaner. It also has a correlation meter with 7 frequency bands, for visual aid while adjusting. A pretty nice tool that could save your bass.
